HOW TO READ A CHART: First thing to see in
a chart is what type of life the native
will live. Lagna is male energy, born nakshatra is feminine energy, if nakshatra
lord is favourable to lagna lord then
life will be bed of roses otherwise life
is difficult to experience. For a long lasting relationship between two people
Both must have their Ascendants in mutual quadrant and their Moon in mutual
trines showing harmonious and long-term relationships.
In Vedic astrology, there are many terms and tools we can
use to come out with precise predictions/interpretation. There are two not so
popular terms are ‘Yogi’ & ‘Avyogi’.
How to Find Yogi-Avyogi Points : Add the longitude of the
Sun & Moon with that add up 93 degrees 20 minutes. The resultant sum will be
the longitude known as the ‘Yogi Point’.
Add up 186 degrees 40 minutes with the Yogi Point. The
resultant sum will be the longitude known as the ‘Avyogi Point’.
Find out the Nakshatra which is in ‘Yogi Point’ the lord of
that Nakshatra is called ‘Yogi Planet’ Sign Lord where ‘Yogi Point’ will be
posited is Duplicate Yogi; which is supportive of positive results but
intensity is not as good as Yogi point.
Use Of Yogi-Avyogi :
Planets posited in Yogi points will always give positive and beneficial result
in life depending on their lordship and where the planet is posited in
chart.Dasha bhukti of Yogi Planet will be auspicious in life. If Moon nakshatra
lord or Ascendant Nakshatra lord is Yogi Planet then the person will be
prosperous through out his life specially during the Dasha bhukti of that
nakshatra Lord, Reverse will be in the case of Avyogi Planet. If any planet
conjunct with Yogi or Avyogi then the result of that planet will be good or bad
accordingly. If any Yogi planet is forming any dhaan yoga or raaj yoga that
will firmly bestow good results in life.Avyogi point in 6,8,12th houses in
chart is better than being in kendra houses.
Astrological factors for conception of a healthy child.
The news item given below is about how a couple have given
birth to a healthy child by following the methods used in Vedic culture. The
genetic aberrations can be put under check or even avoided if the couple plans
the child in thoughtfully drafted methods of Vedic religion. Ayurveda and
astrology have a say in these methods.
Speaking on astrology, I think I can give here some tips on
conception of a healthy child as given by Varahamihira and others.
According to them the onset of menses follows certain
planetary positions. Conception is successful in certain months only in which
the menses has occurred under certain combinations.
The moon sign of the girl must be noted. The monthly movement
of the moon with reference to this sign must be noted.
The 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th houses from moon sign are known
as Upachayas.
The other houses (1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and
12th) are known as anupachayas or non-upachayas.
Usually menses occurs when the moon transits non-upachaya
signs. If at the time, moon receives the aspect of Mars (Mars aspects 4th, 7th
and 8th houses from itself), that menses will facilitate conception in that
cycle. This is applicable to girls of child-bearing age.
Sometimes menses may occur when the moon transits upachaya
signs. It won't facilitate conception even if Martian aspect is there on the
moon.
So the moon's position (in non-upachaya) at the time of
occurrence of menses is the primary requisite. Martian aspect is a facilitating
factor for conception in that monthly cycle.
Texts then proceed to analyze the conditions required for
men also. For the man, the moon must be in 'reverse' – that is in upachaya rasi
from his moon sign and aspected by Jupiter or other friends of moon (sun, Mars)
or Venus. When these conditions are present in a month for the man and woman,
conception is more likely.
At the time of intercourse (lagna / ascendant) in such a
month, there must not be melefics in the 7th house, for a healthy
fertilization. There must be no planet in the 8th house.
The lunar day (Thithi) of that time must not be Amavasya /
Pournami / chathurthi (4th lunar phase) / ashtami (8th) / navami (9th) / chathurdasi
(14th)
The day at that time (day starts at sunrise according to
vedic astrology) can be Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday. Other days
don't ensure formation of a healthy embryo.
The favorable asterisms are Sravana, Rohini, Anuradha,
Swati, Revathi, Moola, Uttara, Uttrashada, Uttrabhadrapada and Satabhishak.
Pushya, Dhanishta, Mrigashira, Ashwini, Chiitra and
Punarvasu are average. If all the other combinations (Thithi, day) are present,
the days of these stars are ok. Rest of the stars is not favored for
conception.
Since the moment of conception determines the nature of
fertilization and the growth of the embryo into a healthy being, these
astrological combinations were followed in Vedic system. Proper dieting and
body cleansing methods of Ayurveda are needed as complementary requisites to
ensure birth of a healthy child. In these modern times of non-belief in Vedic
system, it is a wonder that someone had thought about them and had recommended
them for practice. The news item below gives the details. Pumsavana (sex
selection) is given in that article. I will write about it in a separate post.
IPS FOR GETTING PREGNANT
ConceiveAre you planning to get pregnant? Have you discussed
with your husband and both of you think that it is time to prepare yourself for
parenthood. Well then you need to prepare your body for motherhood. Need help
for getting pregnant? Following are the tips that will help maximize your
chances for conceiving and delivering a healthy baby.
You need to do a through check up of your body which
includes blood pressure, weight, chronic conditions such as diabetes, and many
other factors which can affect your ability to carry and deliver a healthy baby.
Your diet should be balanced and full of nutrients. That
means a balanced diet complete with protein, fruits, vegetables, and whole
grains, and a minimum of sweets and fats.
Stop using all methods of birth control. If you are using
contraceptive pills then stop them immediately in order to allow your body to
conceive. Seems obvious, but some forms of birth control have more lasting
effects than others. It is recommended that you continue taking the pills to
the end of your current cycle before stopping the pills, and then start trying
the next month. If you use condoms, a cervical cap, or a diaphragm, all you
need to do is put them away.
Know when you ovulate coz that's the time when you are most
fertile and you can conceive. When ovulation occurs, your body produces a
slippery, thin substance called cervical mucus to help facilitate the passage
of sperm. Hence you need to examine yourself daily for a vaginal discharge
that's transparent and stretchy between your fingers, like egg white, on your
most fertile days. Know your cycle. If your cycle is 28 days long, that makes
day 12-14 (counting from the first day of your last period) your most fertile
day. But if you have a 30-day cycle, day 15-17 is the most fertile, and
32-dayers should go for it on day 18.
For sex use missionary position a lot. Because his semen
needs to go directly into your uterus and so positions like--man on top, doggy
style, side-by-side--is okay, but please avoid woman on top, standing, or
leaning positions, which discourage the flow of semen to the uterus.
Take folic acid. Your body needs it to produce red blood
cells, as well as norepinephrine and seratonin (chemical components of the
nervous system). Folic acid is also one of the few nutrients known to prevent
neural tube birth defects, such as spina bifida. These defects can occur in the
foetus even before the mother knows she is pregnant.
Your man needs to take care too. It is advisable that he
wears loose pants and underwear because according to studies sperm count
drops--sometimes drastically--when the testicles are constricted or overheated.
Tell your partner to avoid hot tubs, saunas, and hundred-mile runs (hot showers
and moderate exercise are okay).
